Eustis Main Street Public Arts and Music


Eustis Main Street, Inc., Public Arts and Music, and Bay Street Players present the 2012 Variety Show Series: A Musical Matinee at the Historic State Theater, 2:30 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Performers for this event will showcase a variety of styles--

Bob Rafkin is a premier singer/songwriter and guitar finger style virtuoso, writing timeless music, both instrumentally and lyrically as evidenced on his ten recordings. "He’s an exceptional guitarist, has a smooth, pleasing voice and his years spent in the studio show in the simple, yet effective arrangements."~DIRTY LINEN

Singer/songwriter/guitarist John French has built a large repertoire of original music consisting of a unique combination of Americana, bluegrass and folk. Having lived in small towns all across the south, John often writes about those influences in his music. Joined in live performances with his talented friends his group is known as "The John French Connection". www.baystreetplayers.org.

Completing the program is folk-indie singer/songwriter Laney Jones of Mt. Dora who delivers her wonderful songs in a unique, quirky and captivating style. Her voice has been described as sweet as a chocolate sundae with sprinkles!
